Full & Partial House Rewires
Old fuses you have to rewire by hand? Cables coated in rubber or fabric? Your home may be due a rewire. It is the biggest electrical job a house ever needs, so we plan it with you first. We walk round room by room and agree where every socket, switch and light should go.
Floors get covered, walls are cut neatly and everything is made good after. The whole house is tested when we finish. You get a plan for each day before we start, so you always know what is happening.

Rewire questions, answered
How much does a full rewire cost?
Every house is different, so we price each rewire after seeing it. You get one fixed price in writing before any work starts.
How long does a rewire take?
About one to two weeks for a normal three-bedroom house. It depends on the size and whether you are living in it. You get a day-by-day plan before we start.
Can we stay in the house during a rewire?
Most of the time, yes. We work room by room and try to keep the power on at night. On bigger jobs an empty house can be quicker, and we will tell you honestly if so.
How do I know if my house needs a rewire?
Look for old fuses you rewire by hand, rubber or fabric cables, warm sockets or too few sockets in a room. An EICR will tell you for sure. We never push a rewire you do not need.
